Apparatus

7 Engine 10

Engine 10 is a 2017 E-ONE pumper on an International Workstar 7500 4×4 chassis.  It features a 1250 gallon-per-minute pump and 1280 gallons onboard. Being the first responding vehicle to smoke alarms and structure fires, 7E10 is equipped with 5 pre-connected attack lines, each at least 250 feet in length. There are also two 10’ suction hoses, one 12’ suction hose, and one 25’ suction hose for drafting out of dry hydrants, ponds, and rivers. Six 45 minute Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) air packs are in the driver side compartments, with six spare bottles stored around the rear wheel wells. There are hand tools and forcible entry tools located in the side and rear compartments ready to use at a moments notice.

7 Engine 11

Engine 11 is a 1995 Desorcie pumper on an International 4×4 chassis. Its 850 gallon-per-minute front-mount pump has 2 preconnected hoses each 250 feet in length. This vehicle typically serves as a water supply truck, either at a working fire incident sending water from the far end of a long supply line or at a dry hydrant serving to refill tankers in rotation. Equipped with 1000 feet of supply hose on its rear reel you may find this truck laying hose from the main pumping apparatus at a fire to convenient water dump position at the end of a long driveway or directly to a nearby dry hydrant. There are two SCBA packs located on the officer side rear compartment of this truck. Similar to 710, this rig has hand, forcible entry, and other firefighting tools on board.

7 Tanker 12

Tanker 12 is a 1992 Desorcie tanker on an International 4×4 chassis. The soul purpose of this truck is to bring water to the fire scene with its 1800 gallon water tank. There are also 2 portable pumps along with a supply hose to fill itself back up. This truck is commonly called upon when surrounding towns request a “Tanker Task Force” at a large fire where there are no hydrants located nearby. Tanker 12 has three water discharge shoots to dump water into portable ponds, one on the drivers side, one at the rear, and one on the passenger side.

7 Rescue 14

Rescue 14 is a 2008 E-ONE rescue on an International WorkStar 4×4 chassis. It serves as a mobile tool box and contains all the tools and equipment needed for a car accident and scene support. The rear of the truck is home to our hydraulically powered Jaws of Life. A PTO-driven generator and heavy-gauge extension reels provide power to an assortment of lights, tools, and equipment.  Also on board is our portable cascade system, with four 6000 psi air supply tanks and a booster pump allowing us to fill SCBA air bottles at a fire scene. There are SCBA air packs built into the passenger seats in the cab so firefighters can gear up while en route to a call. The top of the apparatus has toolboxes which contain fluid spill containment supplies, wildland firefighter gear, additional cribbing for bracing vehicles at an accident scene, and other miscellaneous equipment.
